The choice of the right kind of seating for meeting and conference environments is not only determined by sitting ergonomics and comfort: the type of chair selected marks the value that is assigned to the area to be furnished and the application in question. Especially in the case of meetings, conferences and consultations, in which consensus has to be reached on far-reaching decisions, it is useful to have an interior that conveys emotional factors such as appreciation, confidence building and re-assurance.
The Carus conference chair has therefore been designed as a four-legged model. This ensures a clear structure and also conveys a familiar, rather club-like, confidential atmosphere. The striking contrast between the graceful frame, particularly in side profile, and the unitary, clearly contoured cushion unit ensures unmistakable distinctiveness: the former conveys optical lightness and elegance, while the latter signalizes inviting high quality, exclusiveness and seated comfort.
